प्रवृत्तिं च निवृत्तिं च जना न विदुरासुराः ।
न शौचं नापि चाचारो न सत्यं तेषु विद्यते ॥
The demonic do not know what to do or refrain from; in them there is no purity, proper conduct, or truth.
आसुरी लोग प्रवृत्ति‑निवृत्ति नहीं जानते; उनमें शौच, आचार और सत्य नहीं।
